Detection & Content Disclaimer

Last updated: January 2026

This page sets honest expectations about the information on this website and the nature of leak detection work itself. It doesn't reduce your rights as our customer — it explains how we operate and what our published content can and cannot promise.

Emergencies and Safety Come First

This website is not an emergency channel. If you smell gas, leave the area immediately and call your gas utility's emergency line and 911. If water is actively flooding your home, shut off the main valve if you can do so safely and call us at (951) 393-1867 — but never risk injury to protect property. Form submissions and emails are reviewed promptly but are not monitored second-by-second.

General Information, Not a Diagnosis

Symptom guides, cost ranges and FAQ answers on this site describe common situations in Temecula Valley homes and are provided for orientation only. They cannot confirm that a leak exists at your property, identify its cause, or predict its repair cost. Only an on-site inspection with professional equipment — acoustic listening, thermal imaging, moisture mapping, tracer gas, line isolation or camera inspection — can produce a finding, and even then the result depends on the evidence your property presents.

The Nature of Leak Detection

Leak detection is an investigative service, not a guarantee. Our technicians locate leaks to the best available professional standard using the methods appropriate to the situation, and we document every finding in writing. Some plumbing systems — particularly complex under-slab layouts, shared lines or intermittent irrigation faults — can require extended investigation or multiple methods. When that happens, we explain the options and their costs before continuing; we don't quietly bill past a quoted scope.

Where evidence points to a source outside your responsibility — such as a utility-side line — we will tell you, and our report will say so. A finding of "no leak confirmed" is a legitimate outcome of an honest investigation, and you receive written documentation of what was tested and ruled out.

Pricing Figures

Any dollar ranges published on this site are historical ranges for this market, shared in good faith to help you plan. They are not offers, not binding quotes, and not applicable to every property. Your written flat-rate quote, issued before work begins, is the only binding price.

Third-Party Names and References

References on this site to communities, neighborhoods, water districts, utilities and public agencies — including EMWD, FPUD, Rancho Water and others — are for descriptive and locational purposes only. We are an independent local company and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any utility, district or public agency.

Questions

If anything on this site seems unclear, call us at (951) 393-1867 before you rely on it. We'd rather answer a question in thirty seconds than have a neighbor make a decision on a misread sentence.
